Yes, everything you see around physically is a result of someone's labor but examine also the emotional labor spent
in Advocacy Work,
in promoting human rights & women's rights as human rights,
in promoting harm reduction as health care for person's deprived of liberty in jails,
in the emotional labor in mentoring & teaching,
in community organizing,
in building social infrastructures, social capital & social relationships.
What people see are physical monuments & physical infrastructures.
Take a look again, & indeed "what is essential is invisible to the eye"
